She didn’t even come alone, she came along with Daisy.

Please excuse us, Nelly said and dragged me by the hand into the kitchen.

I’m not in the mood to cook oh, did you finish the whole food, she whispered to me when we go into the kitchen.

Yes oh, I finished everything, I answered her.

I told her to act as if she’s busy, so they won’t notice we’re listening. she nodded and went back to what she wanted doing.

I tiptoed and stood very closely to the kitchen door. I could hear precious telling daisy that she’s happy and jealous for Nelly at the same time. daisy also said the same thing but she’s happy I’m her friend, adding that she’s okay with it.

Okay baby, I said to their hearing and came out from the kitchen, just to make it look like I was talking to Nelly.

I did that, so they won’t have a clue that I heard a little of their conversation.

Sorry for keeping you girls waiting, I said, walking to fridge.

I opened the fridge and brought out a lemon juice. Let’s chill with this, I said, dropping the juice the dining table.

We were about drinking the juice, when Nelly walked in from the kitchen with the jellof rice loaded in a very big tray.

Bon Appetit, she said, when she dropped the food on the table.

We all smiled, grabbing our spoons.

Nelly was the first to dig in then we all followed.

We gist while eating, and to be honest, i was happy, and at some point, I miss eating with my family.

Also every once in a while, Precious eyes and mine will meet and she’ll just smile then focus on the food.

We were done eating, Nelly took the plate to go and wash, while precious and daisy cleaned the table, and I as Indaboski the great, relaxed on my chair, sipping my juice slowly.

Soon they were all done and they decided to take their leave. Precious opened the door and went out, so did daisy.

Take the key and open the car, you guys should wait for me I’m coming, Nelly said to them.

She turned and faced me, she drew me closer and kissed me. Good night handsome, she said after breaking the kiss.

She was about leaving when she saw Esther coming towards us.
