” Senator James Oseni has won the Gubernatorial Elections In Lagos State. He won by a landslide, and his predecessor Alhaji Rauf Rahman has congratulated him on this victory, now down to the senatorial elections where the talk of the state is the competition between Whitney Saliu-Johnson and Jola Edwards for the mushin constituency. ” The news reporter spoke so fluently, I’d turn my attentions from fear to her prowess. Tech had me seated to watch the news, I just wanted to read about it in the dailies, but Tech wouldn’t allow me.
Tech had met with Jola few hours before the live broadcast, he offered him about 60 million naira, but Jola refused, saying he had nothing to lose.
Tech came up, frown on his face, until I told him not to worry. I’d handle everything. I planned to kill Jola, if I win the election or not, I’d ask for a discreet location, offer myself to him (s*x) and then stab him while we’d be grinding. He was better dead than alive anyway, I couldn’t watch him rule my people with such evil heart.

Tech kissed my forehead, assuring me that the polls were still open and that I had done well, I just calculated how many votes were still up for grabs, I discovered from my calculations that one million votes were still in for grabs. So, I went online, got some messages from my well wisher, thanked people for voting on twitter, and then moved to my room., to have a nap rill at least 10pm. I la!d on bed, defiant on the plans of Jola’s assassination, but he was winning, maybe there’d be no need after all.
What if I just take his offer?, What if he doesn’t win?, What if I fail in everything?, my mind was full of what if’s, Tech called me downstairs, it was past 10 PM already, I moved downstairs, and I saw on the TV screen, I was leading.
