After I got dressed, we went on the date, we talked along the way, cracking jokes and making funny gestures, Dolores wasn’t good at making jokes but she knows how to make funny faces, we soon reached Shoprite and entered the cinema!

The movie that was about to be played was a romantic movie ” Beautiful creatures ” and this could be the perfect time to toast Dolores!

Dolores ➡ Well, I developed this attitude since when I was in junior year in my secondary school, I hate this notion of being dominated by men! Why is that so? But my relatives didn’t know about my strange behavior so after I graduated from university, my parents wanted me to get married they even brought the guy to me! Why can’t they let me choose my own man? So I refused, they did all they could, they even consulted a herbalist to see if I charmed but it was all in vain so they eventually gave up and left me alone.

Chris ➡ But not all guys are bad, you should try to socialize with one.

We shook hands and went to buy tickets for the seats after that we bought some refreshments and entered the cinema! Dolores did all the payment I wanted to but she insisted on doing all the buying, What a lady! I wonder how many naija babes can do this?

As soon as we entered the movie started playing, most of the people there were couples, so they were kissing and hugging as the movie was playing, well since I couldn’t kiss Dolores, I held her waist as we watched the movie, She didn’t mind and the movie went on!

The movie was great and everyone in the cinema like the movie except Dolores, she made harsh remarks about the movie, she even laughed at the place that was supposed to make ladies cry, people in the room turned towards our direction watching Dolores as she continue throwing insults at the movie.

Soon the cinema turned into an insult arena, harsh words were thrown at Dolores but she defended herself and won them all, even some insults I don’t know were Coming from Dolores mouth, I dragged her out of the cinema and decided to go home, She kept on laughing as we left the place, as soon as we stepped out of the place, we jammed with Stephanie and her husband!

They entered the mall and we went on our way, Dolores kept asking me about Elizabeth as we walked, I told her she was my girlfriend she kept bothering me with questions but I ignored her, Jamming with Stephanie was a problem, what if she told Elizabeth I was with Dolores? Elizabeth would never believe she was just a friend, so we reached home and went to our houses, I just hope Stephanie doesn’t blow the whistle on me.

God! My life has never been great, I’ve got a proficient job and a real man in my life, I missed Chris so much,we haven’t been spending time together lately because of work, I just hope he doesn’t mind.

Business has been great and soon enough I would be among the best and richest cloth designers in Lagos, it was only a matter of time, so one Friday evening, I was working on a design on a dress, when Stephanie called me, Of all the times to call, what does she want?

Stephanie ➡ Look, Chris is clean, and its your fault, you made your self so busy that you hardly have time for anyone else. Look your man is safe but you need to spend more time with Chris, so that another woman won’t snatch him from you.
