Barrister Jane was able to convince Simbi to make a phone call to have Dele released. Just as detective Baron had predicted, Simbi fell for the trick and accepted the offer made to her by Jane. As soon as she made the call, her gang in the hotel room untied Dele. He came out from the hotel and he was taken home by the detective who was waiting at the gate. Jane had rushed out and joined them at the gate and they went home together. Jane was finally happy that her man was back. They continued with their wedding plans.

The problem is that Simbi has discovered that she had been tricked by Jane and she has vowed to come after them on their wedding day.

Simbi prepared herself for the last fight. She decided that she was going to maintain silence about the documents given to her by Jane.

“I will surprise them on their wedding day. I will show them the difference between egbe and egbe. I will show them that I’m Simbi. Jane thought she was wise. She thought I have been cheated and I will not do anything about it. She and Dele will hear from me on their wedding day. I will finish them completely. That day will be the last battle.” Simbi said. She was cleaning up a gun she bought.

On the day of the wedding, Simbi stormed the venue with a gun hidden in her handbag. She made sure to sit at the back of the court where no one would recognize her. She was looking for a perfect moment to strike.

After Dele and Jane were declared husband and wife, Jane decided it was the perfect moment to finish them up. She stood up from her seat and walked to the front of the court.

“I now declare you husband and wife. You may now ki.ss the bride.” The officiating marriage official said. As Dele turned to to hold Jane, he heard a gunshot which took over the venue.

“Stop right there! You are my husband and you are not permitted to hold another woman, not now, not ever.” Simbi said as she released another gun shut into the air. The bullet pierced through the ceiling, and zapped out the building through the roof. Many people had disappeared from the scene out of fear of being hit by a bullet.

insane. You that destroyed my life and stole all my properties? You are a terrible person and your case is irredeemable. You are lost, and like she said, you better leave now that you can. It’s a friendly advice from me, your ex husband.” Dele said. This made Simbi to be more angry. She drew closer and pointed the gun directly at Dele’s chest.

Jane pushed Dele away and stood in front of him as if she wanted to take the bullet on his behalf.

“I will have to die first be I will allow you do any harm to Dele. You have to kill me first before you harm him.” Jane said. Her voice was shaking, but her courage was unwavering.

“No! It’s me she will have to shoot first before she can harm you.” Dele said as he stepped forward again, using his body to shield Jane.

Meanwhile, everyone in the court hall had run away as the place became heated and guests were afraid of being hit by a bullet. Even the person officiating the wedding had ran away, leaving Jane, Simbi and Dele to battle it out.

“We are divorced and I’m free to get married to whoever I want.” Dele said. He was sweating profusely.

“That’s a lie. You are my husband until I decide otherwise. And now, I have decided to eliminate you. If I can’t have you, no one would.” Simbi said as she pulled the trigger and shot Dele. Dele fell and lay on the floor.

Simbi started walking away from the hall, but a bullet hit her from outside when she got to the door. She fell and died.

Dele stood up from the floor and hugged Jane. He was not harmed because he was wearing a bullet proof jacket inside his wedding suit.

It turns out that Jane and Dele had expected Simbi to come to the wedding venue for a revenge. They made adequate security arrangements. Police were stationed outside secretly to monitor situations. And both of them were given protective bullet proof vests to wear, and that was what saved Dele.

They went home to start enjoying their marriage.

“I have a gift for you.” Jane said to Dele that

evening.

“These are documents to your properties. I bought them from Simbi. It’s your wedding gift from me. I want us to move to your own house. You are the man, and we should live in your house, not mine.” Jane said.

“This is my happiest day on earth. I made a mistake in my first marriage, but my marriage with you is giving me a second chance at life. I sincerely appreciate you Jane.” Dele said as they hugged.

“I thank God she dumped you. If she didn’t divorce you, I would not have met you. This is a lesson to everyone. The husband or wife you are maltreating and who you want to dump might be picked up by another person.” Jane said.

They later moved to Dele’s house and lived happily ever after.
