Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 15

“Iyanu, tell me it isn’t true. My daughter wouldn’t do this. These pictures says it all but I want you to tell me with your mouth.” My Dad said.

“It is true Dad.” I said crying

I know something like this is gonna happen and I’m prepared. After this gathering, I’ll go and take poison. I didn’t bother to pray cos God can’t save me from this shame.

“I am really disappointed in you. How could you? I gave you everything a father gives to his child.” My father said disappointedly.

“I am sorry Dad. I didn’t want this for myself too.” I cried

“Iyanu eh, you are a disgrace to me. I’m ashamed of you. You practically brought shame to me. Shame on you. My mum shouted and the anger I’ve been suppressing exploded.

“Don’t you dare raise your voice at me. I should be ashamed of you and you should be ashamed of yourself. Are you a mother? I curse the day you gave birth to me.” I shouted

“Iyanu, be quiet. Watch your tongue.” My fiancée said

“Iyanuoluwa, I wouldn’t want to judge you but I need explanation as your Father-in-law. What went wrong? Talk to us.”

I cleaned my tears and started my story

“…….This is my story.” I concluded.

“Oh heavens….. I wanted custody of this child but the court wouldn’t grant me. I know this woman doesn’t have the qualities of a mother.” My Father said.

“Iyanu, you me mean Sam___ Samson. The same Samson.” Mum asked

“Yes.” I replied

“It shall not be well with Samson wherever he is.” My sisters-in-law cursed.

“That is reason why you must be close to your children. Make them your best friend and they won’t hesitate to tell you anything.” Father-in-law said.

They kept cursing, talking and blaming my Mum but my Mother-in-law didn’t say anything. I know no mother would want her son to marry a wh0re like me.

“I am deeply sorry for all the pains I’ve caused you all. I know none of you will ever pray for your child to marry someone like me so I have accepted my fate. You guys are wonderful people. Thank you so much. Mother-in-law, I’m sorry please find a place in your heart to forgive me. Sweetheart, I am sorry. I also don’t want us to end up like this but trust me, you’ll find a better person. Dad, you were a wonderful father and I love you do much. Mum, you tried your best but it wasn’t enough. I know you must have learnt your lesson. It was nice knowing you all. I love you guys so much.” I said and stood up to walk out.

“I love you too you know.” That was mother-in-law.

“I understand you cos I was almost a victim of such before God helped me. I willl not stop you from marrying my son cos I know destiny brought you together. This is a great lesson to you that are becoming parents. Don’t neglect your kids. Show love and care towards them.” She said and took my hand. She then joined it with Ademola’s hand and said “ I give you my blessings.” Everyone clapped.

The wedding was fixed and my in laws loved me more than they ever did.

Clothes were bought, shoes were gotten, everything was in order and I was more than happy.

The day finally arrived. Tye day we became one. I wouldn’t have done anything without him by my side. He is mine and I am his

We said our vows with tears of joy and we became one. We tevellled to Paris for our honeymoon.

He loved me despite my flaws and I will forever adore him.

Remember Amaka, she got engaged to my Doctor friend who treated her mother. I am more than grateful

We became one family and I am grateful to my in laws. They are one in a billion ?.
