Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 13
Edmond then started drawing closer to her. She saw anger in his eyes so tense like she had never seen him before. She could even smell a fine beating on her body. At this point it was all clear that the best thing she was supposed to do was to cooperate with him.
âOkay, letâs talk. Pleaseâ she said.
âNow tell me, where did this dieases come from?â
âPlease, I donât know nothing about it.â.
âListen to me very well and carefully. I have been very faithful to you. I have turned down a lot of advances from women who are more beautiful and classy than you. So this you have done has left me feeling useless, so I donât mind killing you and killing myself. So, if you want to leave tell me nothing but the truthâ he said angrily.
Agatha sat there knowing that it was not going to help her to shield what Edmond wanted to know. She decided to just tell him everything from the scratch to where they were.
âOkay, I got it from the chairman at the market â
âWhy? Why Agatha?â
âThat empowerment fund was the cause. He didnât want me to have it unless I lay with him.â
âYou are so stupid! Did that find come out of his pocket? We could have found a way of accessing it. Why didnât you tell me?â
âAm sorryâ
âThere is nothing to be sorry about. You stooped so low and slept with that womaniser. I am highly disappointed with you.â
âPlease forgive me. I had no option but to do it for the sake of our family.â
âAre you even listening to yourself? The Is family is no longer there. We are done right now.â.
âPlease Edmond.â She pleaded kneeling down begging him.
âDonât touch me. I cant continue my marriage with a prostitute!â
Agatha immediately let go of Edmond and then stood up at the mention of the word âprostituteâ. She rubbed her tears and looked directly at him with unbelieving eyes of what she had heard.
âEdmond, am I a prostitute?â
âThats a statement. A woman who sleeps with men for money is called what? Thatâs what you areâ.
âEdmondâŠ.â
âSay no more get out of this house. Pack your things and go.â He said.
The pain in Agatha was so much that she couldnât even notice tears running down her face. She never imagined that the man who loved her so much could go to an extent of calling her such derogatory title. It had never crossed her mind that at some point she would be called that by someone who was so close to her.
âEdmond, are you seriously trying to send me away from our home?â She asked trying to get confirmation thinking maybe he could change his mind.
âI donât need to repeat myself. I have already sent you away. Infact I have gone to buy an axe at the market. If I find you still here, that axe will do the worst on youâ he said walking out of the room.
He angrily walked outside heading to his car. The dog which they were keeping came and started trying to play with him. He drew his leg back and kicked it so hard that flew in the air first before hitting the ground and running on groaning in pain.
The neighbor was watching him doing all that drama to his dismay. He was wondering what could have made him kick the dog so hard looking at the way he used to love the same dog. The neighbor couldnât hold himself from voicing out his curiosity.
âMr neighbor, why kicking the dog like that? Is everything alright?â The neighbor asked.
Edmond stopped and looked at him from head to toe as cursing words came to his head. He then gave a deep breath out and help his waist.
âMy grandfather lived for 102 yearsâ he answered then making steps towards the car
The neighbor got more confused with his answer as there was no logical connection between the question and the response.
âHe lived for 102 because of kicking the dog so hard?!â The neighbor asked again.
âNo, Because he used to mind his own business!â Edmond said then getting into his car speeding off angrily.
The neighbor stood there in awe as he did not expect the answers he had got from Edmond. Edmond was a great and amazing neighbor to stay with but this side of his personality was not what they all knew him to possess.
âAnyway, I should really mind my business to live longâ the neighbor said then going back to his chores.
âŠ.
When Edmond left home, Agatha sat down on the bed trying to figure out what to do next. It had already been said to her that she was to leave home before he would return. The debate became so strong in her mind of whether to leave or not as she was still not in her right state.
She then came to remember how he had been acting so angry like he had never seen him before. It also dawned on her that Edmond could do something unimaginable if he returned and found her. She immediately stood up and packed some clothes in her small suitcase. She then packed some few clothes for her children as she had decided to leave with them.
A good woman need to always leave her matrimonial home with her children if she is deemed to leave if itâs possible. It just shows how matured and grown up she is. A normal and sensible lady can not leave her children behind unless there are circumstances beyond her control.
.
A few minutes later, she got her children and left for her sisters home as she could not gather courage to go and face her maternal uncle who lived in the same time. She knew exactly what her uncle would do and say if she was to go to his place. She was very well aware that she was to be scolded and dealt with mercilessly.
.
Agatha got to her sisterâs house who came to the clinic and she received her well knowing very well what was happening at her home. The sister felt pity for her as it was really not a good situation for a woman to be in. Being chased from your home due to cheating.
.
The children went and joined their cousins playing while the two sisters went into the living room in order to talk. They needed to pour each otherâs heart and offer sisterly love. Agatha started explaining to her the threats she had received from Edmond if she was not to leave home.
âAm really sorry to hear that. So what are your plans?â Asked the sister.
âI donât know. Maybe help me to calm Edmond down so that I can go back homeâ
âHow can I do that? Remember men donât condone and will never condone cheating regardless of the reason. I think you are the best person to talk to himâ
âHe doesnât want to hear even my breath!â
âThen you should tell Uncle Malemaâ
âI would rather remain single than telling uncle Malemaâ
âSo you think he wonât find out? You better tell him. He will scold you but will later help you outâ
âYou need to help me telling him.â
âWe will go in the eveningâ
ââââââââââââââââââââ
Agatha and her sister sat in the sitting room of their uncleâs home. They had gone to visit their uncle Malema so that they could seek for his intervention. There was no other option than seeing him for that issue.
As uncle Malema walked into the living room, Agatha could hear the heartbeat sound from her chest beating so hard and fast due to anxiety of what he was going to say to her.
The huge gentleman who had retired from army walking gigantically sat in his arm chair while looking at the two sisters sat on the same couch. With his partially hoarse voice, he greeted them.
âYes, you said you wanted to talk to meâ uncle Malema said looking a them both intently.
After looking at each other trying to gauge who was to start talking. The sister to Agatha then cleared her throat and then opened her mouth talking.
âUncle we have come here because Agatha has been sent away from her matrimonial homeâ the sister said.
âWhy?â
âItâs complicated.â
âUncomplicated itâ
âShe wasâŠ. She committed⊠SheâŠ..â
âShe what?â
The sister then looked at Agatha not knowing how to say the case they had come to present their.
âShe cheated on her husband and the husband has sent her awayâ
âWhy Agatha?!â Asked the uncle looking at her not blinking even for a second.
Agatha couldnât gain courage to answer back to her uncle but just looked down as she sobbed silently. The uncle stood up and went to her bedroom after which she came back in a snappy of time. The uncle stood there holding that military belt in her right hand as she looked at Agatha.
âDo you know that I donât mind the age of someone when it comes to beating? I will not let you embarrass our family. I will deal with you right now and hereâ the uncle said then locking the door.
