Wonder’s POV ?

It was still afternoon

The whole family was relaxing outside the house. Except for miss Sarah who suddenly went out with no response

“I really love the air outside here”

“Same here Wonder, thats why it is safe to to receive God’s gits especially nature” my dad replied

“What about you, mom?”

“When I was little, i had wished for a strong and loving family. The one that would go out in the sun and play, stay United no matter the circumstances and live happily as one. And I’m happy it’s happening”

That was some sweet words from my Mom

“So Wonder, tell us a secret” my Dad turned to me

“Dad, what secret?”

“Who is your boyfriend?” My Mom asked with my Dad grinning widely at me

“See these parents ooo

Later now they will say someone is corrupt”

“What?” My dad laughed

“Your parents can never be corrupted, we just asked you a simple question, don’t hide it from us” my Mom continued

“Mom and Dad, I don’t have any, period”

I answered and faced the other side of the chair – I was at the end of the chair, ’cause my parents were sitting next to each other

“This girl is just lying, what of Johnbull?”

“What!!” I screamed

“Mom, seriously? Johnbull is Deborah’s to-be boyfriend. I don’t love anyone”

“Aha Wonder, so you’re telling us you don’t even have a crush”

“Yes, Mom please change the topic”

I was uncomfortable with that topic

I just don’t want to talk about it

’cause I was new to it and all my life I’ve just been a crazy and serious girl

“Wonder, are you alright?”

“Yes Mom, I’m good”

“Alright folks, I’m going to the saloon to make my air, don’t miss me too much”

“Darling, I will miss you” my said in a seductive manner

It was leading to the next dimension until I faked a cough

Xavier’s POV ?

When she turned, her face was pale – it was as if she just received a big shock from something.

She suddenly smiled..

“Oh dear, you’re through with your bath?”

“Yessss..” I answered, increasing the length of my yes

“So I came basically to talk about our relationship” she continued

“Oh ok, so what about it?”

“You know we’ve been dating for more than two years, we do things together, have sex, you know it’s just plain that we are meant for each other”

I was confused by her statement

“So, what are you driving at?”

“I think it’s time we should get married, don’t you think so?”

“Yes, it’s true. It’s time we get married”

I was very very.. infact extremely happy

I had even planned to tell her after my bath

But decided not to, when I heard her conversation in the phone

“I brought us wine” she brought shampene

“Lemme get two glass cups”

I rushed to the kitchen and came back with the cups

She poured the some into both cups

“Honey, don’t you think you should get dressed, you’re drifting of water”

Oh yes it’s I forgot I was still in towel

I came back to the parlour, fully dressed

She stretched the cup to me, I grabbed it and drank all the way down

“Hmm, taste nice” I complimented

“Yeah, I got it from one of the best vendors”

My chest began to burn

What’s wrong with me?

“Ahhhhhhhhh”

“Xavier, are you okay? What is it?”

“I don’t know what’s wrong with me, my chest keep burning”

“Lemme get you water”

Sarah ran to the freezer to get the water

I was beginning to lose life from my body – I was swaying away

“Take the water, Xavier, please don’t die” Sarah panicked

I took the glass but my hands couldn’t hold

It fell off and shattered to pieces on the floor

“So you thought I was going to marry you” ????

I don’t understand, what is Sarah talking about

“What.. do you mean?” I couldn’t talk well ’cause I was loosing my breath

“I poisoned you Xavier”

Immediately those words left her mouth

I.. I couldn’t even think

“Sar.. Sarah why?”

“I know you know I sent someone to kill a woman, I can’t let you tell anyone, so I poisoned the drink”

“Just shut up, die in peace Xavier”

Don’s POV ?

I can’t just believe who I’m seeing right now – it was my daughter, Deborah.

When I met the master at first, he told me to forget about my family

Surprisingly, after that particular day, I couldn’t remember anything about my family

It was just this moment, it dawned on me that I had a family

But wait a minute.. I thought I knew I had a wife and a daughter

Why didn’t I think about them?

“Deborah, what are you doing here?”

“Dad, I’m asking you same question, where have you been all these years?” She bursted into tears ???

I tried to hold her but she refused

“Don’t even dare touch me dad”

The boy with her tried to move outside

“Hey, where to?” Victor asked

“Are you blind, can’t you see for yourself that this is a cold moment between father and daughter. Excuse me my friend” the boy replied Victor with no sign of respect

Anyways that’s not my concern

“I’m sorry Deborah, the truth is that the day I went out when you were little. I met a man who introduced me to a business, he told me not to go back to my family and…”

“And so you decided to obey him, right?”

“No… Wait a minute” flashes began to flow through my head

“What is it?”

“I think I remembered what happened, the man touched me with something that particular day, from then I didn’t remember anything”

“So Dad, you expect me to believe you right? You came from nowhere after many years, those years I needed you the most and you expect me to just believe you” ?????????

“I’m sorry, I… Oh God.. I don’t deserve your forgiveness, but please just know I didn’t intentionally did this”

“Who is that man?”

“He is a cultist”

“What?!!!”

“Yes, it’s just today, I realised he was fake. I went to his house, but found a boy bullying him. He always claim to be powerful but today brought everything to dust”

“Hmmm, so where have you been all this while”

“Seriously Dad, you’re still asking about your wife, anyways she okay but not right now”

“What happened?”

“It’s because I’m here.. wait a minute, were you the one that ordered for a girl to be brought here?”

“Yes.. yeah. I uhmm.. I have been providing males and females to politicians for their fetish needs”

“So you kidnapped Johnbull?”

“No u didn’t, it was one of my partners that brought him”

“Wait a minute, Mama Mike is your partner”

“Yeah” I answered looking downwards – I was ashamed, I’ve never felt like this before in front of my daughter

“No wonder, so it definitely means Mike’s death was fake”

“Yeah”

“So what are you going to do now?”

I stood up sporadically

“I will do according to your Deborah”

“Hmm ok Dad, release everyone here”

“At your service ma’am” I saluted

“Lol Dad please stop, just do it now”

“Victor! Joshua! Guards!” I yelled

They rushed in quickly – they never dare waste my time

“Release everyone, take them by buses to their locations”

They were surprised at what I said

“Any problem?”

“No sir” they answered in unison

I’m really happy I met my Dad – I really miss him

He took his phone after instructing the guards to release the inmates

His face suddenly changed while on the call

“Dad what is it?”

“The police are coming here!”
