Episode 24
At home, Charles is prepared for work, seated on the Dining Table eating breakfast as Doris goes to and fro carrying out her morning Chores.
Charles: Sweet heart please I need an extra portion of food; I need to eat well because I have a lot of work to tidy up at the office this morning.
You know, back log of yesterdays work.
Doris: Oh yes! You had to rush to meet us at the Hospital! I can imagine that, (Moves towards the kitchen) but you don’t need to eat too much now else you will be too tired to work; too much food makes one tired. I will simply put some food in the Food Flask for you so you eat at Lunch hour.
Charles: Yeah! Yeah! That is a good idea, thank you.
(Charles finishes his meal, stands up and adjust his Tie properly, tucks his Shirt into Trouser his properly and adjust his belt as Doris re enters with food Flask in a Bag)
Doris: Here! Keep it in the Car and make sure it is kept upright so it does not spill.
Charles: That’s my Baby! Thank you! (Collects the Bag from her, gives her a peck and proceeds to leave the House) Good bye sweet heart! See you in the evening.
Doris: Okan mi! (Charles pauses and turns around) I will be going out today, I don’t know how long I will stay but if I am not home before you close, then you may need to come and pick me up.
Charles: Ehen! No wahala, and where will you be?
Doris: (Moves closer and put arms around Charles’s) I am going to visit my Father In-law.
They are both at home; your Uncle is on leave.
Charles: (Speechless: He plants a long passionate kiss, both gets exhausted. Doris gently turns him around and push him towards the door) Have a lovely day at work Okan mi!I love you.
