Episode 12
The fear in me had vanished now, my trembling hands hardened more and more, my body shivered with fury- i was to fight Dan.
I have to save myself now!
We circled around eachother with our hands stretched and clenched in fists..
Dan charged at me and i sprang too, i calculated his movements on the run- he swerved very quickly to my side swinging all of his arm towards my face to which i quickly and expertly dodged . The tension was rising now…
He threw another punch which turned out to be a fake and i miscalculated – i moved swiftly for the punch to pass by when suddenly a second one came out towards my rib sending me rolling in the mud.
“arghh” i cried in pain..i was gathering my self up when he charged at me again…i looked up and saw him coming ..he was close to me now – he took another step and i quickly used both (i was still in the mud) my legs to lock one of his legs and twisting it at the same time making him fall too.
I quickly got up to avoid been chanced again …i made the move this time by throwing a heavy punch at his face which he dodged nicely and my hand stopped behind his head – s–t!.
On another thought , i opened up my palm, held his neck from the back where my dodged punch had remain..i got hold of his neck then i brought his head down to my knees hitting him very hard on the nose.
“yeah…i got you” i thought aloud.
“i’ll kill you, fool” he said wiping his now bleeding nose
Meanwhile, the kids had given up now and the thug went after sparrow and Anna
The fight went on and nothing good was seeming to happen.
We were both breathing hard now with just few feets between us.
Dan had a big stick in his hand which he rolled carelessly in his hands.
I looked around for anything and i saw my bag pack with my knife (at least we were going to tear something) lying lazily beside it but, it was accurately behind Dan.
Then i cooked up a plan…INSTINCTS
I chargerd at Dan with a great speed and he picked up too with his big stick.
I read his attack and i knew it was the stick coming at me…
We were almost very close now when he lifted his stick and aimed at hitting my head. I didnt slow down but soon as the stick was going to make contact with me ,
I went staight down on my knees throwing my heads backward to avoid the hit while my earlier speed helped my knee to glide quickly and neatly like a goal scorrer towards my knife.
In a great speed, i got hold of my knife, and in a swift action i turned and stood up at the same time as i stabbed Dan in his shoulder!
He shouted in horror as the pain entered him…he went on his knees immediately. “I wouldn’t wanna risk chances” i thought as i picked up his stick to hit him on the head leaving him unconscious.
“well Dan, you couldnt get through me, looser”…i laughed as i left him to go after anna and sparrow – they were not free yet- a thug is after them!
I picked up my bag and ran wildly after them…
