Episode 15
The night seemed too long, i complained inside in my head. I wished i would go on sleeping and yes i could but for the wet and slippery nose nibbling at my ear- sleeping was impossible.
“Get off me you fool” i mumbled between dry but real yawning smile to recieve a heavy handshake from my dog.
I washed up soon and i whistled as i headed down the stairs beaming with smiles – something was happening.
“Good morning mom” i greeted my mom as i entered the kitchen. She didnt reply she just fixed her gaze on me wierdly.
“whats happening son?…you look like a teen on his first date”.
“nothing mom, i’m just happy”.
Sparrow popped his head up as if to say “nothing- you-say?”
Actually…there was something- i was going to propose to anna today.
It was ten already and i was all set – my ring bearer wagged his tail happily even charlie gave the sweetest horn ever.
I got the car out of the garage and i nosed it to the front where my dog was waiting…
I opened the door of the front sit for him to enter but he didnt,
“get in dude” i ordered him in
He didnt seem to listen , his gaze was somewhere else with his ears erect on alert.
I turned my neck to see what the issue was and i turned just in time to see a figure quickly hiding behind a tree…
I knew who it was …sparrow got in and i drove off…
A snake was on the loose but very soon, i would nab him very soon…
