I was welcomed warmly by Cyndie’s father who was curious and wanted to know if we had quarreled..
Cyndie’s father: Did you guys quarreled? Because i can’t understand why she visited home unannounced.
Nazeal: No sir, we didn’t quarrel.. She just said she wanted to come home because she hasn’t been hearing from you lately..
Cyndie’s Father: Okay,, that was exactly what she told us but i thought maybe she wasn’t saying the truth..
Nazeal: No sir.. She is saying the truth.
OMG breath in, I didn’t know i could still lie perfectly like this oo
Cyndie’s Father: Have your seat please..
Nazeal: Okay sir sitting down
Cyndie’s Father: She isn’t ahome now thou,, she went with her mother to the sea shore and they might be back any moment..
Nazeal: Okay sir..
Cyndie’s Father: Just feel relaxed okay,, pauses
Ekaitte!
Ekaitte: entering Yes sir!
Cyndie’s father: Go get a glass with a drink for him.
Ekaitte: Yes sir
she brought me 5alive and a glass and after serving me, she left.. I peeped at Cyndie’s father and saw him reading newspapers..
After about Seven minutes later, they (Cynthia and her mother) returned and you could imagine how happy we were to be reunited again…
Cynthia threw courtesy away and ran to me and embraced me and in the process dropped the pan she was carrying spilling all the fish in it..
Her mother made this comment: “Eii, this my daughter knows how to demonstrate love.. I pray they continue like that forever”.
After supper, I joined the whole family to watch a video before we retired to bed..
I did not want to hurt Cynthia so i did not ask her anything about the man Sabinto..
As i had not been able to sleep the previous night, I soon fell deep asleep and did not have time to think about what had happened before…
At dawn, I was roused from sleep by Cynthia.. There was a look of concern on her face and that alarmed me..
I asked her what was wrong and she gave a big sigh**
Cynthia: NazeaL, I am glad that you did not take the incident of three days ago seriously and
came looking for me after I had fled to this place in shame pauses I was greatly embarrased by that man who had been a thorn in my flesh for the past seven years..
He was my boyfriend in school, but due to his intimidating habits and womanizing,. I had to call it quits with him…
