(The Number U Dialled Is Switched Off) was the reply he got ”the stupid girl switched off her phone! wat will I tell chief now when he comes? this nana of a girl want to put me in problem”, Mr Pete said angrily ”i don’t know wat is wrong with that girl! today that supposed to be her day,she ran away! now wat are we going to tell chief when he comes? Mrs patient complained, as they were talking, they heard a car horned outside their compound, Mr Pete and Mrs patient rushed to the window to know who drove in, lol and behold it was chief,.

.”aaaah nana look at wat u have caused me! wat will I tell chief now”, Mr Pete said, and just then their door flunged opened, chief walked in holding two heavy fancy nylon which contain alots of different drink, Mr and Mrs Pete welcomed him and asked him to sit down ”my inlaw! why are ur faces like this? did anything happened? chief asked in a concerned tone ”my chief chief! nothing happened”, Mr Pete said and made a face ”ok! anyway I have come for the normal thing, to propose to my wife! so my in-laws,go and get her for me”, chief said smiling

”errrrm but chief u just arrived, why not relax for we to entertain u first before doing wat u came here for”, Mr Pete said ”my dear friend! u see! am a very busy man, I don’t have time at all, I have a business meeting to attend to today around 2pm, so pls I don’t have time! go and get me ur daughter so I can do wat I came here for”, chief said smiling ”errrrm my chief am sorry there is a problem”, Mrs patient chipped in ”wat problem is that? chief asked confusedly

”we woke up this morning to check on our daughter ur wife to be but we discovered she was nowhere to be found! but pls we assure u, we will make sure we look for her! we are very sorry for the disappointment”, Mrs patient said looking at her husband ”errrrm my chief! we assure u, we will make sure we look for her today! pls don’t be angry, u can go and come back tomorrow! I assure u, before tomorrow everything will be settled”, Mr Pete said while chief angrily stood up ”wat nonsense are u guys talking about? that my wife to be is missing on the day of my proposal? u guys are just talking nonsense! u see! am a man of little words, I give u guys three days, three good days to bring me my wife to be, otherwise I will withdraw everything I gave to u guys! I will collect back my tri cycle, closed down ur shop, and collect everything dame have spent on u guys! u guys should not dare me o! three days”, chief angrily said and storm out of the house,

”u see wat ur daughter has caused me? that girl! that girl”, Mr Pete said ”but where could she has run to?Mrs patient asked ”dont worry I know where to get her! I know she must be with that wreched crippled boy! am going there right away to bring her back”, Mr Pete angrily said ”am coming with u my husband”, Mrs patient said.

Charles was seen on the wheel chair eating, when the door flunged opened by itself, Mr and Mrs Pete walked in with anger written all over their faces ”aaaah papa! mama u came? good afternoon”, Charles greeted but got disappointed ”who is ur papa and who is ur mama? now listen to me u crippled man! if u know wat is good for u,go in there and bring my daughter out or else I will disfigure this ur face and cut off this ur crippled legs”, Mr Pete threatened and brought out a knife from his pocket ”but papa wat is happening here? why the sudden change from u guys? I can’t believe this is happening! mama even u? Charles asked ”just shut up ur mouth there, who is ur mother, see! u better go in there and bring out my daughter otherwise u will not expect wat u will see!

Mr Pete said and put the knife almost at his neck ”errrrm papa pls take that knife away from my neck, I will get u ur daughter! dearest! dearest”, Charles called nana who ran out to the sitting room almost immediately, she flinched on seeing her parents ”oh this is where u ran to after my warning, and u know today was supposed to be ur day! now let’s go home”, Mr Pete said ”am going nowhere papa! I want to stay with the love of my life! Charles pls don’t let them take me away”, nana cried ”dearest pls just follow them! I will come”, Charles said ”stupid girl! aren’t u ashamed of urself! running away from home all because of the crippled man here”, Mrs patient chipped in

”now let’s go home”, Mr Pete said and dragged nana on the ear ”and as for u! I don’t want to ever see u with my daughter again, else I will get u arrested! bewarned”, Mr Pete threatened and walked away still dragging nana on the ear with his wife following behind, immediately they left, Charles smiled ”hmmmm!! they failed my test! and this are the same people I helped! human being are so ungreatful! it high time I come out my real self! enough of this game”, Charles said smiling.
