Xander Pov ~

I descend down from the stairs as i hear soft humming from downstairs, i don’t need to figure it out who is humming because i know it’s my precious little mate.

A smile comes over my face at the thought of her. It was my fault, all the things she had gone through, it was all my fault. I should have told her from the very start about me, about who i am. I should have known that she wouldn’t leave me no matter who i am, what i am.

I follow the sweet scent of my mate and end up in the kitchen where i find her cooking as Jennifer tries to talk her out of it.

“Honey, you don’t have to do it . It is my job.” She says in a motherly way.

” It is not a problem at all,Jenni. Besides i like to cook.” She turns her head towards Jennifer and offer her a kind smile. She is always so kind, so sweet and here i am, a monster. It has been a week since i have told her about me and she is still here but i can see the hesitancy in her eyes , knowing that your boyfriend is a blood sucking vampire, is a lot to take in. But i am trying to give her, her space if that’s what she needs right now as long as she is with me everything is fine by me.

Jennifer sighs and turns , noticing me.She was about to open her mouth when i put a finger on my lips and tilts my head towards the door.She nods her head and obeys.Without making any noice, i make my towards the counter and lean against it.

Desire takes over me as i watch her moving her hips slightly to the tone she is humming, making me grip the counter with my hands.I feel him going still as she can feel my presence also just like i can feel hers. She turns slowly and locks her eyes with mine.Her eyes become wide and i know she has seen the desire in them before she clears her throat awkwardly making me chuckle.

“What are you making ?” i ask with a raised eyebrow.

“P-pancakes.” she replies with a slight stutter before turning around and flipping the pancake over. I move towards her before leaning down, my breaths fanning her face.I sense her body shivers slightly making me smirk even more.

“Hmm. It smells delicious.” I say my tone teasing as her breath hitches. I love the way she responds to me. I pull away from her just enough so that my chest is close enough but not touching her.

I bury my head in her hairs ,sighing in content.

“I love you.” I whisper making her relax as she turns around with a smile on her lips . 6

“I love you too.” She replies while lifting her hand before stroking my cheek. I lean into her hand before turning my face and licking her palm , teasingly as she scrunches her nose before rubbing her hand on my shirt muttering “disgusting over grown cat” under her breath but she should have known that i have sharp hearing abilities.My mouth drops open in disbelief at her words before laughter bubbles out from my chest.

“Did you just call me overgrown cat?”

“Disgusting also if i might add.” she retorts back without realizing as my eyes narrow down at her in playful manner , she gulps before looking over my shoulder clearly thinking of running away.

“Run….”i trail off as i lean down towards her ear before whispering.

“Because this cat loves to chase.” And she doesn’t need to tell twice as she squeals before pushing me away and running away.

“I am going to give you an advantage and count to ten. “I bellow making her giggle earning a smile from me. She has me wrapped around her pinky finger, i sigh as i realize she will going to be the death of me.

“I’m coming.” i yell out before using my speed clearly cheating in this game but don’t tell her though.

I saw her running inside the library i have made in my house and slow down taking my time to reach there.

“I can feel you.” I call out as i smell her behind the couch. 11

“I can even smell you.” I whisper making her gasp before she stands up from her crouching state and gives an accusing glare directing at me.

“That’s absolute cheating.” she hisses out.

“Having an advantage is not cheating,my love.” I cross my arms over chest looking at her with a smug face.She narrows down her eyes at me before putting her hands on her hips giving me a stern look.

“And who said that? ” she mocks me , i open my mouth to reply ‘i said that’ but got caught off by a vibration in my back pocket I pull it out to see Harrison,one of my best man, calling me before i mutter “wait a second” to Lexi and pressing accept button.

“King. I have a news.” His voice rang out as i watch Lexi rolling her eyes at me before pushing me out of her way and making her way outside . I smirk at her back before replying.

“And what is it? “

“We have caught Blaze.Blaze Whittaker.” A sinister smile take over my lips as my hands itch with the need to kill, to torture someone. To torture the another Whittaker blood. 38

“I’ll be right there.” I chuckle out thinking to finally being able to get my revenge on Blaze Whittaker.

His laughs rang out in the cell ,they have put me in as i hear his footsteps coming closer,mockingly.

‘i am going to fu*cking kill him’ , i thought to myself as i yank the chains that are tied to my hands but fail miserably. The chains are made especially for vampires, with vervain in them which make us weak.

“Ah i see that the lion is trapped and failing miserably in escaping, uh? ” He comes into my view ,his voice taunting me making me snarl at him.

He smirks at me with a sinister look in his eyes as he whistles,

“You still have some fight left in you, uh?” He laughs at me, i yank the chains.

“Release me,you coward. Then see by yourself how much fight is left in me.” I snarl at him, he continues to smirk at me but i can see a little fear in his eyes. Coward , that’s what they are.

“What ? coward? i think i have to remind you that we are the one who killed your parents, we are anything but coward.” iInarrow down my eyes on him at the mention of my parents. They will going to pay for what they did to them and i am going to make sure of it once i got away from here. My parents hadn’t hurt any innocent in their life but yet they get killed brutally .

I had found their bodies in their room,hanging over the fans in their room with wooden steak their hearts and their skin burnt. The picture still fresh in my mind making me go insane .Just because people think we are blood sucking monster, these hunters think to kill us. I am going to show them what a monster we really are.

” What cat got your tongue now?” He mocks me but i keep my glare at him , yanking the chains which are tied to metal wall. The chains burn in my skin but i don’t stop as anger overtakes me.

He takes a step back as he sees the wall shaking with the force before he pulls out a wooden steak from under his shirt and coming towards me.

” Now tell me where are others?” He asks before slamming the wood in my thigh. i watch as it pass through my thigh, tearing my flesh open. Wooden steak, the other thing that can kill a vampire if pass through their heart and can injure them if pass through their skin.

I don’t let him show that it is hurting me as i keep glaring at him.

” Oh you won’t?” He asks before pulling it from my thigh before stabbing my stomach with it.

“You are stupid if you think that i am going to tell you anything about my people , you bastard.” I growl out at him , showing him my canines .

His face shows anger then frustration before he starts stabbing me with the wood making sure it doesn’t stab my heart yet but i take all the stabs without showing any weakness.

He will pay for this.

They will going to pay for what they did to me ,to my parents.

“The time has finally come for them to pay one by one for their doings.” I mutter to myself as all the tortures they had put me through for over a year,comes flashing through my head along with the picture of my parents.

Justin Pov~ (surprise)

“What did you just say?” I yell out as i grab the nearest thing around me that was a vase and throw it at the wall making the man jump back in fear.

” I’m sorry but we had tried to tell him that it is dangerous but he didn’t listen. ” He says while looking down.I move towards him and grabs his collars making him look at me.

“Why didn’t you tell me what he was going to do?” I grit out , my hands trembling in need to punch someone , something.

“He ordered us not to.”

“Ahhhhhhh .” I push him back forcefully before punching the wall with as much force as i can muster.

“Get out!! i said get the f*ck out off my face” I yell and keep punching the wall breaking the plaster.

My chest heaves up and down in anger.I grab my hairs and pull it,thinking what to do.

He was so fucking stupid . He acted on instinct and look where it had taken him . He is my elder brother but it looks like i am the elder one even our father used to say that also that i am more sensible than him. He always taught us not to let your emotions come between your work.

Father. I clench my fist thinking how he is still imprisoned and possibly being tortured if not dead yet and now the list is keep increasing as my brother gets enrolled in that list also. And now because of my brother’s stupidity he is going to die also along with my father because he let his sorrow and anger come between our work. He is the only family left, i have now. I can’t let him die, father would be disappointed in me if i don’t try to save my family.

It is the time to let this end, to let this war end for once and for all. I won’t allow anyone anymore to take my precious things away from me, not anymore,Xander.It will be going to end soon. It is the time to put my plan in move, i smirk thinking about it.

It will be fun.

Alexandra Pov ~

Where is he? i thought to myself again and again, thinking where Xander has been as i lay in my bed. he has gone since morning and yet not come. I had called him and he replied saying, ‘he has some business to tend ‘ . I wonder what his business is but i dare not to ask because it might contain killing people.

But what worry me most is that what he does, what he is , doesn’t bother me. It feels like my mind and heart are working together and all they want is him , all they can see is him. I sigh as i thought about him. He is a sin but that sin which i will do again and again.

Vampire , i shudder at the thought.He is vampire i still can’t believe it but i have to. No wonder vampires are so handsome and sinful. The way he kisses me, the way he touches me , makes me feel alive , makes me want to do sin with him. I blush at my thoughts as i bury my face into the pillow.

I jump up when i hear a door slams shut, loudly. Is it him? i furrow my eyebrows , he always checks on me first before going to his room.Is he alright? i thought to myself as i make my way towards his room and put my hand on the door knob hoping it to be unlock. I take a deep breath before turning it and hopefully opening it.

I enter his room to find him sitting on his bed , his back facing me .But what shocks me the most is seeing his shoulders hunch over like he is tired .He has his head in his hands as his elbows rest on his thighs. I know he has sensed me but he doesn’t say anything as i close the door softly.

“Xander?” I call out , softly but he just sits still. Something is wrong with him.

“Xander? Are you alright?” I start to make my way towards him in worry when his voice stops me.

“I think you should go and rest, it’s late.” He politely tells me to get lost but what stops me from doing so was his voice. His voice sounds like he is tired and broken.

“I am not going anywhere,baby.Tell me what’s wrong?” I ask,softly . This time my mind yells at me to run towards my room and don’t bother him because he can be dangerous right now. But my heart argues, it tells me not to leave him alone in this state because he never leaves me when i need him.With that thought , slowly , i move towards him and kneels down infront of him.

His body becomes tense as i put my hands on his knees. His shirt is wrinkled and covered with sweat whereas his hairs are dishelved.

“Look at me,baby.” I whisper but he shakes his head at me murmuring ‘you should go’.

“No, i shouldn’t. i am not going to leave you alone because i know you need me. ” I tell him knowing very well that it is me who can calm him down.

He lifts his head up and i almost gasp at seeing his eyes,pitch black but i control myself . Still it scares me , seeing his eyes pitch black because i am not used to it yet but for him i disguise it with a smile. Because i know it won’t help his case if i run screaming bloody murder.

I hold his face in my hands , stroking his cheeks with my thumbs.

“Calm down ,baby.it’s alright , i am here now.” I whisper. He shuts his eyes close , tightly . I lean towards him and kiss his forehead, my lips lingering on his skin. 4

“it will going to be fine.” I brush my lips on his skin . He shudders at the touch before snaking his arms around my waist and lifting me up over him and end up in straddling him as a gasp releases my mouth.

He buries his head in my neck before inhaling deeply and placing a kiss on my neck. I stroke his hair and he visibly relaxes down making me smile and kiss his head. We remain like this for few minutes before he starts kissing my neck making me tilt my head to give him more access.

He trails kisses from my neck to my jaw before reaching my lips. His lips brush mine as he holds me tightly,accidently grinding me on his manhood or maybe that was intentionally , making me gasp and hold onto him tightly as he smirks. His tongue darts out licking my lips before he crashes his lips onto mine.

I think my heart is going to explode, i though to myself as his hands move inside my shirt ..
