Taylor and I are sitting on the field taking a break from soccer; the sun is burning in the sky. It’s nice to be back at school, especially in practice. We are watching the others, play. Ty’s eyes are on Lauren all the time, and it does not surprise me. I can’t even keep my from Hunter every time she is around me.

“How is you and Lauren?” I ask, I want to know what is going on in Taylor’s world. She takes a deep breath, but still her eyes linger on the running, brown-haired girl.

“Great, she told her parents some weeks ago. It went well, I told her it was going to be fine and it did. They were a little upset when she told them we had been together for almost six months; they could not understand why she was so scared to tell them.” She says ginning, and it makes me smile to look at her.

“Now I can come over without being afraid of being caught by her parents, it’s a nice feeling.” She tells me, happy. It sounds nice that you can be around your girl without feeling the weight on your shoulders. I want that with Hunter.

“Oh, and I finally got to give her the ring I promised myself to give her when she told her parents. I just wanted to give her something for her bravery, because I knew she was terrified.” Ty’s eyes move to me now. She has this spark in her brown eyes, she looks so happy.

“I am glad for you Ty, and for Lauren.” I tell her and she gives me a bright smile.

“How is you and Hunter?” She asks me curious. I smile at the thought of Hunt.

“It’s going very well actually, I think she is hundred present open now, that she has told me everything.” I tell Ty. Her eyebrows shoot up.

“Wow, Skylar that’s amazing. Hunter has come far in those months she has lived with you.” I nod in agreement.

“Yes, she has. We are finally where I want us to be.” I couldn’t have been more proved by her. She has come so far mentally and physical. Ty looks behind me with a smile on her face.

“What?” I ask. Then I feel hands on my shoulders and someone sitting behind me. I do not need to look to know who it is. I lean back into her and kiss her cheek.

“Hi.” She says softly.

“Hi, are you skipping?” I ask, and she chuckles.

“No, we could go earlier.” She answer and kiss my temple.

“Hi, Hunter.” Ty says, and Hunt says the same to her. We all watch the others playing, Ty’s eyes still stuck on Lauren, and I am leaning down on Hunter. She kisses me on the side of my head sometimes. This is why I love her, because she knows how to love me. The coach blows the whistle and tell us to go and get our asses home. Hunter moves, and help me up. She reach down and pick up my bag, I offer to take it, but she wants to carry it. I kiss her cheek.

“If that is what I am going to get every time I take your bag, then I do it every day.” She chuckles and I take her hand in mine. We walk towards the car, and start driving home.

“What do you want to do the rest of today?” I ask, and take her hand in mine. I turn to look at her, and she looks thoughtful, she always narrows her eyes when she thinks. My eyes drift back to the road. After a little while, she squeeze my hand. My gaze moves to her again, and she looks at me with desire in her eyes. I shake my head.

“You know we can’t, mom and dad is home.” I tell her, and stop the car behind dad’s. Hunter sighs.

“I just want to hear your beating heart.” She says. I turn to look at her amazed.

“You can’t say things like that to me.” I say, a little too harsh. She looks at me with confused and hurtful eyes. Then she opens the door and close it hard, making me wince. I didn’t mean it in that way. She can’t say things like that, it makes my heart melt, makes me want her more than I should. I walk out the car and follow her inside. Mom and dad sit on the couch.
