The Mechanic

Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 3

I was lucky to have finished all of my tasks, there wasn’t much to do tho… Just few cars were brought to my workshop and it’s all just minor stuffs. I waited patiently for evening to fall so that I could go and drink myself down.

I passed by the big garage on my way out and the cars crept back into my head-why would there be cars without doors and also rated as TOP SECRET? Miss Logy stated too that there were bad men with guns and suitcase. I just have a bad feeling about it all.

We don’t Do dirty deals, no drag cars or jammed cars… Our package is always pure. My bothered minds and lots of questions pushed me into going to meet Tony.

“Hi there steve”

He greeted as I drew back a chair to sit in.

“Done already? ”

“Yeah, there’s nothing much to do today”

“oh really, so guess you’re off to grabbing a drank Uhn? ”

“Yeah… But you I’m just kinda surprised you know, all those bad ass cars without doors in the garage”

He flinched up at that, guess hes shocked.

“Ye…s no… I mean.. We are to work on…th..em” his words didn’t come out straight. I decided not to push further again so I let it slide after all, he’s the boss here.

I Ordered for one more bottle. The attendant came almost immediately and when I looked up at her Mehn I saw beauty, I mean real one. I stared at her for a moment taking my eyes up and down her body till I rested it on her face and good lord, she is really beautiful.

“Sit” I ordered with my finger going up And then down, I was drunk really.

“I’m on my duty now Mr. But if you need anything I’ll be here once”

Her voice hit me again taking me gently off my chair till I began to float.

“you should tell me your name at least”

“call me Eva”

She turned To leave and quickly I stood up to follow her.

“so Eva when do your shift end? ”

She was startled by my voice-she didn’t know I was following her.

“Geez, what are you doing”

“Nothing, just following you”

“but I’m busy right now Mr”

I guess she’s new here.. Every one knows my name.

” my name is Steve”

She swayed her head turning to me.

“alright Steve… My shift ends in thirty minutes”

“Then I’ll wait”

I must confess, she had the sweetest smile ever and a good body-nice curves, and to crown it all a very nice, full pinky lips.

It’s love on first sight but it’s the type I’ve never felt before as in anytime I think about her, I just seem to despise alcohol.

“so how do you spend your time when you’re free”

I asked as we walked down the street later that night.

“Movies” she replied with another smile that left me wondering in love.

“All alone?”

“yeah” Mehn, she said that innocently.

“what girl goes to the movies alone? ” I was very surprised.

“is that a requirement? ”

I love her wits really.

“No actually…I just think its a normal thing to do… No boyfriend?

She chocked at the mention of boyfriend.

“they bring troubles into your life”

“but you know there are sweet troubles, like adventures ”

” It’s all nonsense”

We talked more till we got to her flat. After normal goodbyes, she stood awkwardly while I just stared foolishly at her.

“Eva you know… I think Tonight is my best night so far.. ”

She leaned closer and said.

“same here mecha man” and with that she dissapeared into her flat.

I used to think being alone keeps you from trouble and yes it does but it dosent make you enjoy life.

I really saw a promising future for us but Never knew it was going to be a dangerous journey of love….
