Andrew’s Pov:

Cristine’s cell phone beeped and she picked it up.

But then she gasped in shock as she stared into the phone.

“Oh my God! Andy?” She cried out as she hugged me tightly.

I held her to my chest still very much surprised.

“What happened?” I asked with so much concern.

She kept looking around in fear….

“Andy! Am so scared…. He’s back!” She cried out in pain.

I arched my eyebrows in confusion.

As I scratched my head still not getting her.

“Who is he?” I asked anxiously

I kept on panting heavily as hot tears pricked her eyes and rolled down her cheeks.

I wiped off the tears and kissed her cheek.

“You know you can tell me anything right baby? So tell me who is back?” I asked calmly.

“James…. Andrew James is back” She flinched.

I scoffed and shook my head.

“Your ex husband you mean?” I asked recalling the guy’s name.

Cristine shook her head in agreement.

“Yes… That’s him!” She replied.

I patted her hair softly.

“It’s nothing love…. Am right here and I won’t let him hurt you” I said tenderly

She only sniffed hard.

“You don’t know him Andy! He’s a very dangerous person” She weep

“And am dangerously in love with you so am ready for anything” I said as she smiled.

I hugged her tightly.

Thoughts kept running through my mind.

What could possibly be her ex husband’s intentions of texting her?

I will never let him hurt her….

That will be over my dead body!!

Cristine’s Pov:

I walked restlessly up and down the room as I walked straight to the window staring outside and backing Daniella.

“Dani things are going to get ruined trust me!” I cried out bitterly

“Calm down Crisy!” Daniella said

“Calm down? Really girl? You think i can do that?” I sneered

“Cristine you are no longer married to him so I wonder why you are so scared” Dani sighed

“Dani I was the one who really wanted the annulment and I know James a lot, he’s a very heartless person and I wouldn’t want him to hurt my Andy” I worried

“Listen Cristine! That shouldn’t bother you… But you just have to be careful” Daniella said as I exhaled heavily.

“Oh God! I just hope that demon goes back to whatever pit of hell he’s coming from” I said and sat heavily on the couch

“Of course girl… Cheer up! I really want to hear everything about the lunch you went out to have with Andrew” Dani said

“Urghh…. Gossip girl” I scoffed

“Yeah! Whatever…. My ears are itching already and I don’t want you to hesitate in giving me the full details and the takeaway food you brought for me” I eyed me as I burst into laughter.

“Fine! Here…” I handed a nylon and she giggled in excitement.

“Mmhhhhh….. Yummy!” She squeaked as she quickly unwrapped the package.

“Slow down girlfriend… You’re gonna choke you know” I laughed out as she bit a very large quantity of the hamburger.

“Yeah… Yeah… Thank for your concern!” She snorted.

“I thought you said you’re watching weight? How can you do that when you’re such a big eater” I teased her as she kissed her teeth noisily.

“I’ll continue the weight watching once am done eating my hamburger” She said with a mouth full.

?We all have that one friend who keeps saying they are watching weight yet they keeps overeating ??

?Mention them and make them feel special ?

“Am all ears you can tell me the full details while I eat” She belched loudly

“Yuck! You’re so disgusting” I roared in laughter.

“Let me be!” She sighed loudly.

I walked out of the bathroom with my towel still tied round my chest.

I glanced at the wall clock.

Jeez… ??

It’s almost 11pm ?

I stood in front of my dressing mirror admiring myself.

“What a flawless skin!” I chuckled as I picked up my body cream.

I massage the cream into my soft tender skin.

Just then, I heard a knock on my door.

I became a bit surprised…

“Who could be knocking on my door by this time? The maids should all be fast asleep” I thought out loud.

I shrugged as I walked towards the door and swing it open.

“Hello wifey!” His deep voice echoed into my ear drums.

“James?” I gasped in shock……
