Tuesday morning had finally arrived and my trip to Abuja was an hour away, I took my time to pray, bathe and eat my breakfast in style..

After finishing my breakfast, I went into my room and got dressed, I was a simple white shirt, a black coat and a nice short skirt, though it was a little bit tight… As soon as I was done, I packed some of my clothes in a small luggage and then called my uncle to inform him about the trip.

After ringing for a while, he finally picked my call.

Reginald ➡ Hello my dear nice..

Julia ➡ Good morning uncle.. How’s your night?

Reginald ➡ It was good.. God’s to be praised for making us see the light of day.

Julia ➡ Yes uncle.. Well I called to inform you that I’ll be away for a while.. I’ll be traveling to Abuja to attend to some business..

Reginald ➡ Is that so? Well be careful and have a safe trip.. Besides.. I’ve been thinking about you lately… Don’t you think it’s time you have male companion in your life? You’re 31 and you’re not getting any younger.

Julia ➡ I know uncle… In fact I have someone i’m currently dating.. His name is Marcus.

Reginald ➡ Marcus!? That weaselly fellow that follows you around at work.. I don’t like him.

Julia ➡ Ah.. Uncle. He’s a nice guy.. Unlike the others..

After that, I ended the call and took my luggage, I soon left the house and drove straight to AMTEX.. Both Tina and Marcus were waiting for me as I got there. As soon as I parked my car, both of them approached me.

Gina ➡ Good morning boss.

Marcus ➡ Morning boss.

Julia ➡ Morning… Wow! I can’t believe I’m going to Abuja on such short notice… Maybe I should cancel the trip.

Marcus ➡ No.. Don’t worry.. After all you’re the CEO.. You can’t just neglect your duties that’s the responsibility that comes from being the head of an organization.

Gina ➡ Marcus is right. Besides you have some minutes left luckily for you.. I have found your ride and he’s very early.. But..

Julia ➡ Enough talk.. Carry my luggage to the car and let the driver load it into the boot.

Gina carried my luggage and took it to one exclusive Mercedes Benz that parked in the front of AMTEX.. As soon as she was gone, Marcus and I began to talk.

Julia ➡ Oh baby.. I’m going to miss you.. I wish you’d come with me.

Marcus ➡ Don’t worry darling.. Business before pleasure.. We’ll have lots of fun when you get back. Besides I’ll be here managing things before you return.

Julia ➡ Thanks Marcus… I’ll be back in a few days..

Marcus ➡ Sure.. Take your day to relax and unwind. Have a safe trip.

Julia ➡ Thanks.

Marcus and I shared a kiss and shortly after that, I headed straight to the parked Benz, the driver wasn’t in when I got there, So I entered the car and waited for him, in that moment, Gina appeared from out of nowhere looking a bit roughed up and sweaty.

Julia ➡ Tina!!

Gina ➡ Yes boss..

Julia ➡ Where were you and what’s the sweat? You look a bit messy..

Gina ➡ Oh I do? … Well, I went to.. uh.. check on the driver ….. Turns out he went to ease himself..

Julia ➡ I see… Okay o.. I’ll call you when I get back to Abuja..

Gina ➡ Okay… Safe trip boss.

Julia ➡ Yeah…

Gina left sooner afterwards, she was walking a bit limpy as she headed back inside the company,.. As soon as she was gone, I occupied myself by checking the latest updates on Bitcoin and krypto, so far so good, I have two bitcoins and I’ll planning to sell them off once the bid goes high… As I was busy with what I was doing.. The driver came into the car and turned it on, Before I knew what was happening, He zoomed the car off as if he was in a race track.

Julia ➡ Jesus… Hey driver.. Be careful okay?.. Drive safely.

The driver didn’t reply me, he just kept his eyes on the road, so I ignored him and continued what I was doing..

Hours later, as we were on the road and out of Lagos , I was trying to have a short nap, when the driver turned up the music raising it to full max… He played one of wizkid’s song which was Expensive shit and kept shaking his head like a lizard…

The volume was too loud and it was staring to disturb me..

Julia ➡ Hey Mr driver… Your music is too loud.. Reduce the volume or shut it off.

The driver ignored me again shaking his head more to the music, he even began to whistle… There’s nothing more that I hate more than noise pollution and that’s what exactly this fool was doing.

Julia ➡ Listen to me fool!! I’m talking to you… Are you mad!? I said turn off the d–n music..

The driver then suddenly hit the brakes hard making the car jerked forward, I hit my forehead on the driver’s seat hard, I got so mad I wanted to slap the driver.

Julia ➡ You b-stard!! What kind of driver are you? Do you know who I am?

Jack ➡ Of course I do.. You selfish b-tch.

Julia ➡ What did you just call me?

Jack ➡ You heard me, you bossy b-tch..

The driver turned around and faced me with a mean mocking smile on his face, I was stunned with immense shock when I saw who the driver was.

Julia ➡ JACK!?!
