John got home knocking the gate.

“papapa!” he knocked

“who’s knocking” Mr. Jude asked

“it’s me, John” he replied

Then, the gateman opens the gate for him and he enters into the compound.

“Good afternoon sir” John greeted the gateman.

“how are you?”

“i’m fine”

“how is school today?”

“school is fine”

“alright welcome” Mr. Jude concluded.

“thanks sir”

John walked into the house and found Mrs. Akinyemi, the pastor’s wife sitting on the couch; in the sitting room.

“Good afternoon mummy” he postraited and greeted her.

“Who’s your mummy? Your mum is dead! I’m not your mummy okay!!!?” she replied him with an aggressive voice.

“Ye…yes ma” John replied her, his body was shaking.

“So you get liver to tell my husband that i slapped you abi”

“No…no…i”

“i wetin… Pa! Pa!! Pa!!!” she held his two hands as she gave him three consecutive slaps.

“Oya go and bring that wooden chair and carry it on your head” she ordered.

John quickly adhered to her instruction, he took the chair, knelt down and placed it on his head.

“mummy pls!” he said crying.

“i said i’m not your mum, that chair must not fall o” she warns him.

“Yes ma! Pls ma! It pains me ma” he said sweating and crying profusely.

Mrs. Akinyemi’s children, her daughters, came from the school, entered the house and found John serving punishment.
