THE QUEUE OF MEN….

I was surprised when sister Faithfulness asked that

question.

“Who told her? But…. I’ve not said anything to

anyone, not even pastor has known about this. How

did she know?” I thought deeply.

Before I could replied her, she said,

“She’s the one, right?”

I shook my heard in confirmation.

“Don’t worry, GC. I know you are surprised how I

got to know. While I was praying for you, the Lord

told me about her. From what the Lord told me, I’m

very sure, she’s the right person for you, but, you

would have to exercise real patience before the

manifestation of the vision” she said and left my

office.

I was confused by that last statement.

“I have to manifest real patience before the

manifestation of the vision. What does she mean by

that?” I said to myself.

I quickly brush that aside as I was determined to

meet the pastor and tell him everything about my

vision, as well as follow the right steps as to my

proposing to this sister.

After the service that day, I went straight to the

pastor and told him everything.

“Hmmmmmmm….bro David, I really understand

your point and the strong confirmations about your

visions. Besides, I also got the news of those

sisters fighting because of you. You remember you

reported the case of the fight between sister Shade

and sister Mary to me?” Pastor Alex asked me.

“Yes sir, I remember sir” I answered to him.

“This sister, do you know her?” He asked me.

“Not really, sir but from the vision, I was told her

name is Esther Michael. She’s in her final year in

the department of Banking and finance, sir” I said

quite hastily.

“Okay. Now, you have to be patient and let me do

my own findings as well as follow the necessary

protocols laid down. Don’t approach her yet, okay?”

He said

“Okay sir” I answered and left him.

The next day, I was in my office when my prayer

coordinator, bro Paul came to me. He seems a bit

excited and in a cheerful mood.

“Brother Paul…..hmmmmmmm….tell me the Lord

has done a great miracle for you today. Judging

from your cheerful mood, I know you have a good

news for me” I said.

“GC, it is well. I’m just happy because the Lord is

good. Remember, I told you that I must see the will

of God before leaving this campus?” He asked me.

“Yes, I remembered. You told me you will be doing

a 40days fasting and Prayer for it” I said looking at

him.

“So, any good news?” I asked him.

“Yes!” He said excitedly. “I have found her GC…” He

exclaimed.

“Calm down….how did it happen and who is she?” I

asked trying to make him feel relaxed.

“During the last day of my prayers, I was desperate

for an answer, so I told God that the sister I will

greet that will smile at me and shake me without

me first extending my hand for a hand shake, will

be the chosen one. And GC, can you

imagine…..God is great ooooo” He said with

excitement

“Continue… please” I said.

“As I entered the church, behold, one beautiful,

elegant and heaven-sent angelic sister came into

the church. As I greeted her, she smiled at me and

extended her hand for a hand shake. I could not

believe my eyes…. I know this is a answer to my

prayers, sir” he said with joy.

“Hmmmmmmm….. what’s the name of this sister

you are talking about?” I asked with surprised.

“I asked her, she said her name is Esther Michael. I

asked her about her department, she said Banking

and Finance. GC…the Lord is good” he said

At the hearing of that, my heart was beating very

fast. I felt automatic sweat oozing from my

forehead.

“Are you sure, bro. Paul? Don’t you think you need

more confirmation?” I asked him.

“Yes, GC….I am very convinced about this. In fact, I

am going to proposed to her tomorrow. No time to

waste, sir” he said as he got up to leave.

“Bro. Paul….. please, be patient….be patient.

Remember, the church has a process for this

thing….” Before I could finish my speech, he was

already out of my office.

No sooner he left, my Evangelism coordinator, bro.

Caleb, came in too with the same will of God story

on Esther Michael.

“Ah…God…my rib….my bone…!” I exclaimed after

he left my office.

As if that was not enough, as I was going home that

day, I met with one of the brothers’ Hall

representative, bro. Brainard. As we were

discussing, he made mention of Esther Michael.

He said he has even gone to propose to her, but

she turned him down.

My Koinonia Coordinator, Bro. Emmanuel, met me

on the way too. While we discussing, he told me

about a sister he was in love with.

“Who is she?” I asked him.

“Her name is Esther Michael. GC….this sister is

beautiful. I don’t know whether my feelings for her

is lust or true love, but I am going to propose to her

tomorrow” He said.

“Bro. Emma, you can’t do that. That’s against the

directives of the church” I said but inside me, I was

burning with jealousy.

I tried to preach to him and get his mind off Esther,

but he was bent on going to propose to her.

That night, I could not eat. My appetite died that

night. Even sleep couldn’t patronize my eyes. I sat

on the floor shouting “Oh God, my rib….Lord, my

bone…. Father, my Flesh. Nobody must take her

from me ooooooooooooo”

The reason I was afraid was because of bro. Paul. I

was a witness to his 40days fasting. Whenever bro.

Paul comes back from such personal Program, his

called for me.

him about the sister. He told me to wait and follow

After our meeting, I went to my office.

already going ahead of me to propose to her?….

What if she said “yes” to one of them. I know she

can’t say “No” to bro. Paul. Everybody knows and

attracts everyone. No sister can resist him. I must
