As is sat on my bed reading a new book i got, my phone rang, i dont need a soothsayar to to tell me its Kimberly. As i picked up the phone, its was indeed her.

Lucia: Hello

Kimberly: Hi. How are you ?

Lucia: I’m good. How are you doing in Dubai ?

Kimberly: Its so beautiful out here, its really cool, dont blame me if i dont want to come back anymore.

Lucia: How are you chilling out without me.

Kimberly: Pretty good.

Lucia: I had lunch with Chris today.

Kimberly: You didnt say, you went on a date with Chris.

Lucia: Not a date, just lunch.

Kimberly: Whatever, i guess we are making progress.

Lucia: Progress with what ?

Kimberly: Warning up to him.

Lucia: I’ll pretend i didnt hear that.

Kimberly: Ofcourse you did.

Lucia: I was wondering how he knew where to find me.

Kimberly: It happens, maybe a coincidence.

Lucia: Its to much of a coincidence, he came to the boutique, not to buy something but to see me and how he knew i was going to be there.

Kimberly: I’m not in Nigeria, so how am i suppose to know ?

Lucia: Yeah right! Tell me you had nothing to do with him showing up at the boutique earliar today.

Kimberly: I just felt like putting a little spark in your day.

Lucia: So Chris is the spark ?

Kimberly: Isnt he ?

Lucia: I dont think so.

Kimberly: I think so.

Lucia: I dont.

Kimberly: You know what ? You’re welcome.

Lucia: For whta ?

Kimberly: I know you’re grateful.

Lucia: Whatever. So how is Dubai ?

Kimberly: Great, you and i should take a vacation here sometime.

Lucia: That would be nice. How are you enjoying yourrelf ?

Kimberly: Very well, there is this cute Italian guy i met here. He is so cute.

Lucia: That’s the thing with you, you like cute guys. I guess your business trip just got interesting.

Kimberly: Ooo my! He is married.

Lucia: Oops, are they all married ?

Kimberly: The cute ones are always married.

Lucia: So when are you coming back ?

Kimberly: With the progress we are making, i’ll be back before you know it.

Lucia: Just give me an approximation.

Kimberly: Before you blink your eyes.

Lucia: I just blinked my eyes and guess what, you’re not back yet.

Kimberly: I’ll be back.

Lucia: You better.

Kimberly: I will. But before then, you take care.

Lucia: You too. Goodnight.

Kimberly: Goodnight.

Lucia: I really hope you come back soon before i’ll be force to have lunch with him again.

Kimberly: That will lovely.

Will you get off my phone ? I said and we both laughed.
