Ever since that photo of mine leaked out on the internet… Tina and I had been on each other’s neck as of late.

That night just few hours after my photos were posted.. Tina came back home and started throwing insults at me.. At first I decide to ignore her but then I couldn’t take it anymore.

Tina You ungrateful b*tch, after everything, I’ve done for you.. You go around and stab me in the back.. How could you?

Miranda Look, I’ve told you… I didn’t post those pictures…. I’m even surprised you’d think I’ll do such a thing… I thought you knew me well enough.

After that night, we never spoke to each other, Jim tried to talk me into coming back to be Tina’s P. A but I refused not after what she said to me..

Since I was no longer working now.. I decided to look for a job but things became more and more complicated… Like for example, for every job I applied for the employers were a serious pain in my neck..

Like the time i applied for my first job I was in the administrators office as he was busy checking my files.. But in the process, he was using that opportunity to steal glances at me. After he was done.. He requested something that I wasn’t expecting..

Administrator Miss. Queen, your files are okay but you can’t get the job.

Miranda Why? Has the vacancy being filled?

And that’s how it ended, from one job to another, that’s what the employers were requesting me for.. There was one job I applied for that the employer was a female and I thought things would be better but little did I realize, I was wrong..

As I was in her office, She was busy looking at my credentials nodding with approval.

Female administrator I hope so.. What’s your name again..

Miranda Oh My name is Miranda queens..

Female administrator Miranda what?

Miranda Queens.. Is something wrong..

Female administrator I’m sorry but the vacant positions has been filled.

Miranda (surprised) But you just said I was hired..

Female administrator DIDN’T YOU HEAR ME? I SAID THE VACANT POSTS HAVE BEEN FILLED..

Miranda But that’s not fair you know?

I just couldn’t believe it.. Just when I had gotten a job and now this happens.. GOD why me?

After that, I applied for as a cashier in the mall, I got the job and thanks to me, people came into the mall in droves especially the men.. But truth be told, they weren’t inside the mall to buy things, they were there to see me.. And because of this, the female customers got angry especially the ones with their boyfriends and husbands.. They reported to the Mall manager and threatened to stop patronizing the mall if I wasn’t fired.. And that was what happened.

Despite all that I didn’t stop looking for jobs.. Modeling sponsors and others approached me to work with them and they offered big money but I refused, because if I accepted it.. It’ll prove what people said about me trying to steal my sisters spotlight.. I managed to get a job at the bowling alley here in Abuja, the pay wasn’t much but at least it got me going.

Ben and I hadn’t talked since our last call, he had been trying to call me but I refused to pick.. I was so angry to talk to anyone let alone him… After all, he was the cause of my current situation.

But despite that, he kept calling and calking until finally I decided to accept his call. I later found out Olivia was behind the pictures being online… I was so angry when I heard it… If only I knew where she was, I would have killed her.. After that, Ben apologized to me and promised to come see me here in Abuja.. I was so happy when I heard that..

Since I was no longer with Tina, I decided to stay in my mom’s guest house which was located here in Games village.. That means I didn’t have to go through that hassle to pay rent and all that.

One Sunday afternoon, I was in the house watching a show on TV when my mom came to visit me.. She was together with Tina. In that moment i knew what was about to happen. As we were all seated.. Mom began to scold us.

Vanessa I’m ashamed of you girls.. Very ashamed.. Because of some small issue you’re both become enemies..

Miranda Mom this is no small issue..

Vanessa Quiet! I don’t see why you should worry yourself… At least you weren’t nude in your pictures.. Just some kinky outfits that’s all.. Vanessa Shut up.. You I’m more ashamed of.. Accusing your sister of something she didn’t do.. You should know that Miranda hates this kind of rubbish.. In fact this isn’t her style.. Some girl would have accepted those offers sponsors are offering but Miranda didn’t.. Just look at your sister.. She works in a bowling alley.. Does she look like someone that is trying to steal your limelight..

After that we both said nothing.. Mom continued scolding us until she made us both patch things up with one another.

Vanessa You are both young women.. You should be working together not fighting like hated enemies.. Just know I won’t be around for long to be talking senses into your head.. It’s time you both realize not everything is worth getting worked over with,.. I want you two to apologize to one another? No more senseless fighting.

As we came close Mom gave us both a warm hug, we too hugged her.. Mom was right.. Fighting over something like this wasn’t worth it.. Because there’s nothing more important than family.
