Omowumi….!!! ” My daddy shouted my name.
In the first place when my Dad asked if there was anybody at home, I heard it, But since my stepmum didn’t say anything or answer, That was the reason why I kept mute too.
Yeah. I wouldn’t want that to vex her, so I kept mute.
“so, Be be careful, Omowumi. I don’t know why I like you, If it hadn’t been for that, You would’ve gone to meet your mum by now” she muttered.
I looked at her and fears gripped me.
“Could it be that my Dad was the one who k!lled her or what exactly, I’m seriously confused ” I said in my mind, as tears rolled down from my eyes.
After saying this in my mind, she walked in front of me as though as if she wanted to pick something at my back.
” when the time come, You’ll know how it happened. Don’t blame anybody yet, The truth shall prevail” My step mum retorted.
I rest my hands on my chest and then hummed confusedly.
Then we started hearing footsteps from the downstair, coming directly to the upstair where we were. It wasn’t anybody but my Dad.
