JOE’S POV

I called David to come to the mansion immediately. I choosed some of my guys that’s loyal and strong.

Few minutes later, David drove in. I got in even before he could get down and told him to follow the police van.

I took time to narrate to him what happened. He wouldn’t have believed if not for the way he saw things.

I prayed inwardly that the kidnappers should knows nothing about the car. And if they do, then there’s an insider. Chief only use the car whenever there’s a visit to any politician cause of security measures.

We arrived at the police station. I took time to explain the case to the IG and he promised to spread out his team to nooks and crannies of Lagos state.

I nodded and went out. I called my boys to get ready and with david, we drove to a computer engineering office.

I explained to him and asked him to help track the location of the car. He asked for the appropriate documents and I gave him. He checked and advised he’ll be through before tomorrow.

I pleaded with him and made him understand if the thing isn’t carried out today, there’s danger laying ahead cause the car is the only link to track them down.

He increased the fee and promised to start on it. He told me to move get a sit so, he wouldn’t be confused and nervous. I agreed and got a sit.

Few minutes later, he called me forward and gave me the exact location the car was. I stared at him and asked if he was sure it’s this place. He nodded in confirmation.

“Why here? Who are they?” I asked myself.

“Sir, who?” The engineer asked.

“Oh! Sorry, not you. Thank you very much” I said and transferred his cash to him.

“David, to the station” I said as I entered. I rested my head and sighed. I was confused, is there an insider? Why that estate? Is that what people do in an estate nowadays? Kidnapping someone and keeping such person somewhere inside an estate. Who is behind this? I won’t spare anyone who tries to hurt that girl. I won’t.

CHIEF’S POV

I drove in silent. My mind was in a state of confusion. I ought to have tell Joe or Sophia but I didn’t. I couldn’t just say exactly how I’m feeling. Lost.

Is my wife trying to play a trick on me? No, she sounded so serious. She won’t. I banged on the horn and overtake a truck. My phone rang. It was Sophia calling.

“Sophia, I’m sorry. I’m on my way to Edo state…. I’ll explain everything to you, I’m not sure right now… Everything will be okay… Bye please.” I ended the call and drove faster.

“Poor Sophia. She’s worried about me” I’m even glad it wasn’t her my two daughters they took. Sophia would have heat everywhere up.

“I must reach there before evening time.” I muttered.

“Joe, any update?” I asked as I received his Call.

“Are you sure?… Move, move, take them all and go there… Just make sure my daughter’s safe…. I’m driving… On my way to Edo state… I’ll explain everything to you later… Good luck joe” I ended the call.

My heartbeat increased. Joe had find the location through my car. I Pray it’s not that they just parked the car there. And the location? That was one of the new estate I’m building a house in for Sophia.

“What am I…thinking?” I hissed as I almost hit a car.

Few hours later, I reached the exact hospital she told me about. It was a large one. The security opened the gate. I entered and called her.

I stared at her in shock. She looks pale and dry. She stood still not looking up at my face. I guess she’s sorry for everything she did. She shouldn’t be sorry now but later if whoever that poor girl that lost her memory is not found.

I stared in shock as I saw my daughter lying with oxygen mask used to aid her breathing. She’s got drip water being passed to her. I guess my B.P would be extremely high from the shock of Bella being kidnapped and the shock of seeing my daughter in this state of health.

“Sir, let’s go so we’ll test your blood” The doctor said and led the way. So did I follow behind.

After doing the test, I sat with my wife but she muttered nothing. I also didn’t say a word. I was awaiting the test result, I think she’s also waiting for it. I wonder why the hospital would run out of blood.

“Sir, I’m sorry sir. You’re B, your wife here is A. She inherited one of each from both” The doctor explained.

“So doctor, what do we do? This is our only chance” My wife said.

“We need AB type.” He answered.

ALIYAH’S POV

“Bike” I stopped a bike and immediately hopped on before telling him my location. My tummy rumbled and I guess it was the noodles I prepared at noon. I wonder when I would know how to cook.

My tummy sounded like thunder as the bike entered a pot hole. I couldn’t help control my anus as it opened and I released the foul smell.

I covered my nose in disgust. This mess can kill o. I heard the bike man mumbled words I didn’t hear well. I tried not to laugh as he used a hand to cover his nose.

I quickly got down and paid my fare. I could sense he was staring at me but who cares.

“No be mess I mess” I hissed and hurried in.

I was in distress. I could feel the faeces already at the tip of my anus ready to come out with force. I groaned and stopped walking. I held my butts with both hands and hopped to and fro singing.

“Igbe ma lo ito ma bo… Yee… Igbe ma… Yeee… Ma wa o… Igbe ma lo ito ma bo (Poo poo go away urine come…. Yee…. Poo poo g… Yeee… Don’t come o… Poo poo go away urine come)” I continued singing, groaning, holding my butts as I raised one leg up after another.

After singing for almost a minute, I felt relieved a bit. I quickly opened the door to my bedroom and with speed, i flung my scarf away and tried loosing the gown I was wearing. It was a tight one and I couldn’t do it with speed. I angrily tried to tear it and I saw a button cut off out of the three button at the chest and rolled away to God knows where.

“Mumu, pull it up” My subconscious told me.

“It’s true o” I replied and quickly rolled it up and dashed to the toilet.

I flushed without breathing as the smell almost brought out my spirit. I came out and took a deep breath. My phone rang again as i made to sit down. It was the second time.

I reached for it on the table. It was Annie calling.

“I dey house…. Abeg no vex…” She was still saying something as I laughed and made to turn when I slipped and fell hitting my head hard on something.

“That was the last thing I remembered that happened in my room. I didn’t know how I got to the hospital. I don’t know who carried me there. I remember waking up and I was injected by the doctor, woke up the next day again and decided to take a walk round the building to know what’s happening. Talking to the security guard and then Joe came to take me. Bella. I met my dad. No, chief. The doctor said I lost my memory and need to rest. I didn’t remember anything. Jane, my friend. God knows I missed Tife. Then, wait. Brother Haq!? I’ve seen him somewhere.” I searched my memory trying to remember.

“Yes. ICM. I even carried Hameed. Why didn’t he call me? He didn’t recognize me. My new look. I saw chris. Emily and Ryan. The next day, Emily told me her mum wanted me to help her get stuff in the market. I saw these men working on the road. I passed through another. I was drugged and brought here. The guy I could tell was their leader called someone that they got the wrong package. He left and some guards also left remaining one. He stared at me and was trying to zip down his trouser when chris came in. They started fighting. He made to hit him but the latter dodged and it hit me on my head making me go unconscious” I sighed deeply as everything replayed in my head. My eyes was closed all along and no one knew I was conscious. I could hear their every conversation.

Tears dropped down my eyes. “Why did this happen to me? God, Why me? What state of mind would my mom be?” I thought and tears flowed with my eyes still closed.

My head was still bleeding and I could feel it getting heavier. I took another deep breath and opened my eyes slowly.

“Bella, you’re awake” I heard Chris say immediately I opened my eyes. He stood up and made to come forward.

“I’m Aliyah. Not Bella” He froze his step and looked at me like he’d seen a ghost. They all stopped their Convo and I could feel their eyes on me. Then I saw her enter.

SOPHIA’S POV

I was thinking about what Stanley told me. I needed to reach there and see things myself.

“No, you’ll get suspected” A voice said. I laid down again. I was really nervous and scared. I never thought Chief would come home today.

That estate isn’t safe. It was just a temporary hideout before they move out to the main hideout. I just had to tell Stanley to use there for today and tomorrow, as early as possible, we would go to a very far place where Stanley carries out his operations. He’d also agree cause he still had some things to round up.

I got up and went down the stairs. I saw no one there. I checked outside. I came in and went to check chief’s room. He wasn’t there.

I dialed his number. “Hello chief where are you?… What for? What happened?…. Are you sure everything’s okay… Okay.” He ended the call.

What’s he up to? Edo state? To do what? I think we have to move out of our location today. I don’t know what chief is up to. My heart beat increased. I need to tell Stanley to move out of there real quick. I called his line but it was switched off. I called Chris own, it rang several times but he didn’t answer the call. Hope nothing is wrong?

I quickly changed my cloth and went out. I got in my car and drove as fast as I could. Chief is doing something. Perhaps, he went to Edo to get soldiers or more police? Or what? My mind was in disarray.

Few minutes later, I arrived there and used the key in my hand to open it. I hurried in and asked one of the boys at the entrance if Stanley is In and he nodded.

“I’m Aliyah. Not Bella”. I heard as I entered. That word increased my heartbeat and it seems I was having a panic attack.

“I’m Aliyah. Not Bella” It echoed in my mind.

Smiles… The real Bella isn’t dead. Now, Aliyah has found herself. She regained her memory and she remembered everything. After all, she slipped and hit her head on the edge of the bed. It wasn’t any attack. But, is it wise of her to say who she is? What do you think?
