EPISODE 5

Morning came in a twinkle of an eye,she couldn’t wait to visit the priest,she wash herself in the bathroom before wearing one of her favorite wears,she called asantewa from her room,cause she had not woken up at that time,she answered her Aunty’s call and went to meet her in her room,her aunty then looked her closely and said,
Tayua
“From now on, I will keep an eye on you,any time you feel that way you did last night,I will give you a bag that you will always take along with you Everytime,so in case something happens to you like last night,ok”,she said sternly and seriously
Asantewa
“Ok ma’am,but I can’t still understand what happened to me yester—
Tayua
“Hey,end of discussion,am going out this morning will see you later in the day to explain things to you ok”,she cut her off
Asantewa
“Ok ma’am”,she replied and went to her room still wondering what happened to her last night
Tayua left the house to visit the priest without her friend,she wanted it’s to be a confidential visit,so she arrived safely to the priest shrine and entered through her back in the shrine,and waited for the arrival of the priest.
The priest came out and asked,
Priest
“What do I owe to have deserve this visit my daughter”,he said and smile warmly
In his hand was a native pot with a liquid substance in it, bringing vapour out from the pot,which sent some kind of unpleasant aroma circulating the room,the aroma almost made tayua to poke,but she had to hold herself not to make the gods angry.
Tayua
“Great one, please the pot of water you gave to me the previous day,when I went home I fetch some of the water into a cup and placed it’s on the dining table and went to hid the pot as you told me under my bed,but fortunately my—–
Priest
“Say no more my daughter,I know what happened,your niece drank the whole water,and she was replaced instead of you in the money process”,he said and laughed
Tayua
“Yes great one exactly, that’s why I had to come see you to ask if I have spoilt the—-
Priest
“Stop using that word spoilt,my work does not spoilt,the gods I worship has alot of ways which it’s works,either than spoiling it’s bring in another way in working,you see my daughter she has become the source of your wealth treat her well,and take good care of her,she is still normal,but what is inside her will always remaining forever in her,and she will always vomit money any day but every twice in a week,so take note,my daughter my work is done for you,you have no more worries to worry”,he said and sprinkle some of the content in the pot on her,she nearly poke out it’s remained small,she quickly thanked the priest and drop three bundles of money on the floor for the priest before she left,when she reached a little bit far from the shrine,she vomited to her satisfaction then wipe her mouth and headed back home.

When she got home,she called asantewa to come meet her in her room,the girl came and she told her that,she was getting to an adult that’s why she felt that way,that she will always feel that way from now on,that every puberty girl always feel that way,and after the feeling they will see alot of money on the ground for them,but it’s not all the girls experiencing puberty that sees such, that those girls are so rare,and she is one of them,but she should not worry,any time she feel that way she should lock herself in the room,and take the bag along with her so after the feeling when she wakes up,she could pack the whole money into it”,and that’s it’s,she said and smiled

“Oh is this true,cause I remember my teacher at school didn’t mention anything like that, even my friends in school haven’t mentioned anything like it”,she said still doubting
Tayua
“Yes exactly, that’s why I said girls like that are rare,none of them experience that , that’s why they never know of it, don’t worry about that,I already told you what you should do any time you feel so ok,later by noon am taking you to shopping”,she said smiling
Asantewa
“Really oh”, surprised”,but aunty why are you so good to me all of a sudden,is there anything you are not telling me,or are you preparing to beat me cause I drank your water”,she asked afraid
Tayua
“Oh no dear, forget about the water ok,I have never hated you before,I have loved you,only that I was depressed cause I was not having money, but now I have more money cause of your puberty,so am happy,I will make sure I spoil you with money ok, let’s go prepare our breakfast.
