Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 3

Heather’s POV

I woke up at 5:30 and looked around my room. It was a pretty nice room, I have to admit. I personalized it by painting it a midnight blue and adding glow-in-the- dark stars to the ceiling. It’s childish but it comforts me . As I stared at the stars, I remembered that I had to go to dinner at my parent’s house. I sighed. This is gonna be a long night. I got up and walked over to my walk-in closet. Since I was already wearing a white shirt, I grabbed a dark gray sweatshirt and changed into dark jeans. While heading out of my room, I grabbed a cute grey beanie and my white converse. The weather was getting cold as November approached so I had to dress warmly. As I walked down the hallway to the stairs, I contemplated whether I should ask William to come or not. But my phone suddenly beeped with a reminder from my mother about the dinner once again, and a demand for William to come. I groaned and began to head towards William’s room. Once I reached the closed, dark oak door, I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. “What?”, was his annoyed response. I opened the door and walked inside. William’s room was a dark maroon color. It was quite intimidating actually. My eyes darted towards where William sat at his desk in the back of the room. He was already staring at me, his eyes running over my body. I felt uncomfortable from his piercing stare, especially after this afternoon’s incident. “Eyes up here!”, I snapped at him. He smirked up at me and said, “Why, are you uncomfortable?”. I glared daggers at him. “No! It feels disgusting to have you looking me over like that, especially after you blatantly told me that I was a w—e and gold-digger.” I said angrily. An indecipherable emotion flashed across his dark green eyes. “Anyways, I came here to tell you my mom wants us to come over for dinner. You better come because she won’t get off my butt if you don’t.” I said, staring at the wall behind him. “Ok, let’s go then.”, William replied. William got up and walked out the door with me in tow. We walked out to his black Mercedes in the driveway. As he drove, I turned the radio on. Heart Attack by Demi Lovato started playing. I couldn’t help myself and began singing along. Never put my love out on the line Never said yes to the right guy Never had trouble getting what I want But when it comes to you I’m never good enough When I don’t care, I can play ’em like a Ken doll Won’t wash my hair then make ’em bounce like a basketball But you make me wanna act like a girl Paint my nails wear high heels yes you Make me so nervous that I just can’t hold your hand You make me glow But I cover up won’t let it show As I continued singing, I felt eyes burning through the side of my head. I turned my head, I saw William staring at me in shock.
