Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 4

Start from the beginning  “What?”, I frowned at him. “You can sing”, he replied, still shocked. I rolled my eyes. If he tried to get to know me, he would know singing and dancing are my life. I can’t breathe without them. I ignored him, and listened as a new song came on. Chains by Nick Jonas started playing. But before I could even open my mouth to sing, another voice beat me to it. My head snapped to William. He had a deep, sultry voice. It was rough but it sounded nice, especially when he was singing. I felt shivers go down my back as he stared at me and sang the chorus. I turned my head to look out the window again. But as the next song started playing, I felt a hand on my shoulder and I slowly turned my head to look at William. The song was Painkiller by Jason Derulo and Meghan Trainor. He sang Jason’s lines and gestured for me to continue. I couldn’t help but give a small smile, and we both burst out with the chorus. We sang together the whole time, with William drumming his fingers on the wheel, forgetting about how he despised me. At the end, we looked at each other and grinned. William’s eyes were bright and amused as he stared at me with, what seemed to be, admiration. It was the first time I’ve seen him like that. It was like we never had any problems with each other. I wonder if he’s bipolar or something. We pulled into the driveway of my parents two- story mansion.

As I got out, I noticed the cars of my two older brothers, Alex and Andrew, in the driveway as well. I walked up the steps to house, and waited for William to catch up. He was taking his sweet time, walking slowly to the stairs. When he was finally on the last step, I pressed the doorbell. I could hear yells and footsteps racing to the door. It finally opened and I saw my nephew, Landon, standing there jumping up and down, grinning at me. “Aunt Heather!”, he yelled, hopping right into my arms. I laughed and swung him around, hugging him to me tightly. Landon was Andrew’s son. He was absolutely adorable with his brown hair and bright blue eyes, almost an exact replica of Andrew at the age of five. “How are ya doing, buddy?”, I asked as I walked inside the foyer. “I’m super duper good! I didn’t get a timeout at all this week!”, he told me proudly. I laughed and kissed his cheek, “That’s great! Maybe if your parents let you, I’ll take you to ice cream to celebrate.” “Yes!”, he shouted and hugged my neck. He turned to William, “Hi Uncle Willie!”. William smiled and gave him a high-five, “Hey Landon.” I put him down and held his hand as we walked down the hallway to the living room, with William following us. When we walked in, all heads turned to us. My mom and dad were sitting with Alex, Andrew, and Stephanie, Andrew’s wife. My mom got up to greet us. “Hi Sweetie!”, my mom said as she kissed my cheek. “Hi Mom.”, I said and hugged her.

My mom is a great person. She is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. She has black hair, with a few grey strands, and sky blue eyes. She is still really beautiful for her age. Alex stood up to greet me, while my mom hugged William. “Hey Booboo, how’s life?”, he said as he kissed my temple and hugged me.
