The other competition was about to begin, and Dave was still discussing with Ovie. He was eating the pounded yam he had ordered for.

Ovie: i can see you are really enjoying your meal.

Dave: yeah, i am. It became my favourite because of my mum. She would always prepare it to make it look attractive to the eyes.

Ovie: you are more attractive to the eyes.
She said this smiling.

Dave: what?? I ………..

kpom The sound of the bell cut dave short, signifying the continuation of the match.

phil was seated in a special seat provided for him, awaiting the prize. He caught a glimpse of Esohe smiling at him. He smiled in return and stood up to meet her.

“Can we talk”? He asked.

“sure, but only if you admit that you cheated. Esohe replied.

“aha, how did i cheat”?
“You made lose my guard my flattering me with your lies”. She said.

“Lies? No, they weren’t lies. I admit, i made you lose your guard but i meant every word of what i said” He replied.
“hmm, if you say so. But how about we talk another time, i really want to watch the wrestling” she said.

“i am phil, by the way. And once again i want to say, u are very cute”.

Her eyes sparkled after that last statement but she tried her best to conceal it, but she failed.

Dave was still yet to see Abies. He was forced to ask Ovie and the reply he got surprised him.
“oh, she went out to who knows where all to escape watching the matches”
“but why wouldn’t she want to watch it”? Dave asked.

“Well, she doesn’t like to see other people hurt and therefore hate violence”. She replied.

The trad. wrestling is over with an indigene of Iyase kingdom winning the 1st place.

After many shouts in the air, The king(Osawaru) then congratulated both men who were now standing before the king, and he wore a royal necklace on both of them and proceeded to give them a 5 million naira check each.

The two men were all smiles and they were also told that the cows promised would be given to them later.

The 2nd placed individuals were both also rewarded with 2 million naira each.

Dave was so happy for his friend.

Dave: let me go and congratulate him.

He said this to Ovie.

Ovie: i’ll go with you.

“Hey, congrats bro” Dave said
“yeah, you really proved yourself” ovie added.

“Your highness, Dave, thanks a lot”.
If you’ll excuse me, i’m going to the palace. Dave, you care to join me? Ovie asked.

Thanks, but i’ll be back shortly.
“obie, see as u and the princess dey talk like say una be bf and gf. Guy take am easy oo” phil said.

“common shut up there jor” dave replied.

Phil: if you talk to me like that my friend, i’ll through u to jail, don’t you know i am now a millionaire?

Dave: u nor well na. Idiot.

Phil: hahahahahaha.

They discussed a bit more about how he was gonna spend the money. Phil said he was gonna tear down the small house his parents and build something nice and name it after their grandfather.
