Episode 2

The evil forest was a place dreaded and feared by all the villagers, as it was seen as the land of the gods. Only witches, wizards and cursed children were thrown there.

No one had gone and come out alive, until Dave went. He was very brave and determined to save his king.

He found the herb and took it to the chief priest, who then promptly used it on the king. The next day the word spread far and wide that an indigene had saved the king’s life.

King Osawaru asked for dave to be brought to him.

—————————— Dave entered the palace and met the king and his chiefs seated comfortably. He prostrated and greeted his king.

Young man, what’s your name?, the king asked.

Your highness, my name is Dave Igbinoba, he replied.

Oh, oh. No wonder you did such a wonderful thing for your king. Your father was my very good friend before he died. I can see his qualities in you. The king said.

I called you here to tell you that i have made you my personal right hand, you are the one that’s going to be supervising all the activities of the palace and also some things concerning the kingdom at large. And you are going to do that under the palace’s roof. The king continued.

Dave was dumbfounded, he just prostrated and thanked his king. He then asked to go home and get his belongings and the king obliged.

On leaving the palace, he went to phil’s place to tell him about the good news.
