“Aha, are you not part of the royal family? Or am i too ugly?” Ovie argued.

Dave replied.

The competition began with the centre of the village square being the location for the competitions.

The arm-wrestling competitions kicked off first. A huge guy from ogieva kingdom was to face another average guy from Dave’s kingdom(Iyayi kingdom)

They started thier battle of strength after the signal came from the person in charge.
Beads of sweat could be seen forming on the two men’s head.

What physics call RANDOM MOTION could be seen between the two hands as they were each trying to fall the other’s hand.

Their veins stuck out showing the amount of strength been used.

This continued amidst chants of names and clapping.

The huge guy finally, with much effort fell the second guy’s hand.

Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe!

The man(joe) was carried shoulder high until the time for another match reached.

The number of guys participating in the arm wrestling was eight, two persons from each kingdom. The number is now seven following the elimination of the guy that was just beaten.

The arm wrestling competition continued.

of course, such a competition would be somehow without “refreshments”. Drinks have already been distributed to everyone immediately the competition began… Preparations for a more suitable dish was underway inside the intensive stomach department… Lolz.

The competition had gone a long way with only four men standing.

Phil was among the four that had advanced to the “semi-finals”.

He was to face that same huge guy that had wone earlier. It could be seen that phil was very nervous but he said a quick prayer and meditated on the words Dave told him earlier.
“just make sure you don’t let him fall your hand. You can hold it for as long as it requires and then use all your power to push his hand to the floor”.

He breathed deeply and went to the table to start the battle.

Dave was praying hard for his friend because this money was all he(phil) needed to turn his life around.

Ovie was looking at dave throughout the competition through the corner of her eye.
Dave just immediately remembered that he hasn’t seen Abies since the games began.

phil eventually did what dave advised him and he was able to win and qualify for the finals admist cheers from everyone.

The person phil was going to face was a woman from ogieva kingdom. She had surprisingly won all the guys remaining phil on her path.

Who would prove victorious?………
